Turkey Picadillo

Ingredients

1 (20-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Boneless Turkey Tenderloins, cubed

1 onion, diced

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons chili powder

½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1 tablespoons chicken flavored granules

1 cup water

¼ cup low-sodium tomato paste

1 (4-ounce) can CHI-CHI’S® Diced Green Chilies

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots, beans), thawed

Directions

Cook turkey tenderloins as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.

Add onion. Cook 5 minutes or until softened. Add garlic powder, chili powder and pepper. Cook 1 minute. Add chicken granules, water, tomato paste and chilies. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes. Add vegetables. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until hot.

Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
